Frequently Asked Questions
Yoga
Do I need previous experience to practice yoga?
No. All experiences are designed to accommodate different levels, from first-time yoga practitioners to those looking to deepen their practice. Each session is personalized according to your needs, goals, and experience.
What yoga styles do you offer?
Depending on your experience and needs, sessions may include different styles of yoga.
Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic practice where movement is synchronized with breath. It helps develop strength, mobility, balance, and concentration, creating a fluid and energizing practice.
Yin Yoga is a slow and restorative practice where postures are held for several minutes to promote mobility, release tension, and cultivate a sense of calm and presence. It is ideal for balancing the fast pace of daily life.
In some experiences, we also combine both styles to create a more complete and balanced practice.
What do I need to participate?
Only comfortable clothing and an open mind. If the session is in-person, the mat and accessories will depend on the location where the experience takes place. If it is virtual, we recommend having a mat and a quiet space where you can move comfortably.
Can the sessions be customized?
Yes. All experiences are tailored to the needs of each individual, group, or company. Before starting, we discuss your goals, experience level, and any relevant physical conditions to create a safe and personalized practice.
Sound Healing
What is Sound Healing?
Sound Healing is a profound relaxation experience that uses the vibration of bowls, sound instruments, and different frequencies to create a space of calm, rest, and inner connection. You don't need to do anything in particular; just allow yourself to receive the experience.
Do I need prior experience?
No. The sessions are open to anyone, even if you have never meditated or participated in a Sound Healing experience.
What can I expect during a session?
Every experience is different, but generally you will experience a space of stillness, conscious breathing, and deep relaxation. Many people describe a feeling of rest, clarity, and well-being at the end of the session.
Can the experiences be customized?
Yes. Individual, group, and corporate sessions are designed according to the intention and needs of each person or group. They can also be combined with yoga, meditation, breathwork, ceremonial cacao, or personalized rituals.
Yoga Mats
What makes Patualma mats special?
Our mats are designed to offer stability, comfort, and durability, inspired by nature and created to accompany you in a conscious practice for many years.
Are they non-slip?
Yes. The PU surface provides excellent grip for both gentle and dynamic practices, even when hands start to sweat.
How should I clean my mat?
Clean it with a soft, slightly damp cloth after practice and let it dry completely before rolling it up. Avoid abrasive products or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
What material are they made of?
Our mats are made with a polyurethane (PU) surface and a natural rubber base, PVC-free, offering an ideal combination of grip, cushioning, and stability.
